Room sizes are much smaller than expected!!! Poor sound insulation creates a noisy environment!!! Inconsistent air conditioning makes room temperature uncomfortable!!!

The hotel's location is remarkable, with easy access to the tram that takes you directly to historic sites. It's surrounded by vibrant markets, restaurants, and essential services like ATMs, making daily errands hassle-free. The general cleanliness of the hotel adds to a pleasant atmosphere.

The bathroom facilities are in need of renewal, which detracts from the overall experience.

The big pool was refreshing, and the lobby's decor is stunning. Our toddler loved the children's pool, too. We really appreciated the kindness of the spa manager.

The location is centrally located, making it easy to reach major attractions. The decor of the hotel is charming and adds to the overall atmosphere. Some of the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to assist us, which created a welcoming environment.

having stayed in istanbul before, this budget stay at amethyst exceeded my expectations! the location is fantastic, just a short walk to many iconic attractions. the breakfast was legendary, and i loved the clean pool area.

This place is super close to all the main attractions like the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, so we could just walk everywhere! Brekkie was lekker too, loads of options and a nice vibe in the dining area. Really enjoyed the pool area, perfect for chilling after a day of sightseeing.

Only downside was the room sizes—felt a bit cramped for us, but we made it work!

Fantastic Local Vibes!

I had a super fun stay for 4 nights! Loved the sunny pool and the breakfast with loads of yummy options. The staff was nice and even helped me with in-room dining when my toddler was cranky. One bummer tho, the bed was kinda bouncy and not the most comfy for sleeping. But overall, great time!
